Our Community

The BIMe Initiative welcomes the contributions of researchers from both industry and academia!

A BIMe Initiative researcher is not someone who necessarily works at a university but is a highly motivated individual keen on rigorously uncovering what works and demonstrating how it can work better.

BIMe Initiative volunteers can join the community either by invitation or after a vetted application. To join, interested individuals need to have (i) prior knowledge and - preferably - public contributions in a relevant Focus Area (refer to 103in). They also need to be (ii) willing to accept the General Principles; (iii) sign the Excellence Manifesto, and (iv) work collaboratively with other BIMe Volunteers to meet BIMe Initiative’s aims and objectives (refer to 101in).
