In this tutorial, as the real estate manager working on the De Zalmhaven complex project in Rotterdam, Netherlands, you need to keep the real estate agents and the owner of the project up to date on the status of the units available for sale or lease. You want to not only share with them the 3D model of the building complex but also enhance that model with additional information contained in a separate table, which documents each unit's space usage and availability.
After setting up an ArcGIS Pro scene, you'll add to it the 3D model and connect the data table to the model. You'll then publish the ArcGIS Pro scene as a web scene to Portal for ArcGIS. All your collaborators will be able to access the web scene in their web browser or through ArcGIS Pro.
Unlike other tutorials in the [BIM and GIS series](https://learn.arcgis.com/en/paths/bim-and-gis/), this workflow is only available for ArcGIS Enterprise implementations as you can only publish a scene layer that is involved in a relationship class to an Enterprise portal.
Construct realistic buildings with multipatch editing

As a facilities planner, you've been tasked with creating realistic 3D buildings for an upcoming remodel. To compare the suggested redesign to the current building, you'll use multipatch editing tools and manually create two 3D buildings on the Pennsylvania State University campus. After converting building footprints to multipatch features, you'll extrude them, using a lidar point cloud to evaluate their height and shape. You'll then edit vertices to create roof shape details. You'll also apply texture images to the buildings to make them as realistic as possible.

The City of Copenhagen wants a 3D model of the buildings in the neighborhood to use in further urban planning activities, flood prediction analysis, shadow impact analyses, viewshed and line of sight analyses, and more. As a remote sensing analyst for the city, you'll use lidar point cloud data in ArcGIS Pro to extract the 3D representation. You'll create and classify a LAS dataset, extract a digital elevation model (DEM) and 2D building footprints, and generate 3D multipatch buildings.
